Leadership in Health Care Systems (Online Program)
This program prepares nurses who will influence the future of health care through visionary nursing leadership. Competencies include communication, financial skills, information technology, leading and managing change, policy analysis, and empowerment for professional practice. Graduates are prepared to assume positions in education, administration, management, or specialty area roles in a variety of care delivery sites.
All classes are online except for two three-day experiences (NUR635 and NUR639). These two courses provide opportunities for students to develop peer and faculty relationships and make presentations. Preceptor clinical experiences are individually designed to meet the student's career goals.
