The 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree provides the nursing theory, science, humanities, and behavioral science preparation necessary for the full scope of professional nursing responsibilities, and provides the knowledge base necessary for advanced education in specialized clinical practice.
Transfer Information: UAH participates in the Alabama Articulation Agreement with Alabama junior and community colleges. Students planning to transfer credits to UAH from one of these schools are encouraged to complete courses equivalent to those listed below. Official transcripts of desired transfer coursework must be submitted to the UAH Office of Admissions for evaluation. Prospective students will be notified of courses transferred for credit.
Transfer Students must meet the lower division requirements. Lower division credits may be earned at UAH or transferred from other accredited institutions.
Lower Division (freshman and sophomore levels): 60 Semester Hours
