Wireless Network Access
Wireless access is available on all four floors of the Nursing Building, however, the signal is very weak on the fourth floor. Best access is on the second floor and the open areas of the first and third floors. If you plan on using wireless inside NB100, connect before entering the room.
To access wireless you will need:

- The SSID and Key for your user type (Student, Faculty, or Staff)
Students
- Your SSID is Student5
- Your PSK (key) is Go Chargers!
Faculty
- Your SSID is Faculty5
- Your PSK (key) is You will be tested
Staff
- Your SSID is Staff5
- Your PSK (key) is Where is the coffee?
Guest
- Your SSID is Guest5
- Your PSK (key) is Welcome to UAH
A set of directions covering Windows and Mac systems is available here:
http://www.uah.edu/tag/wireless.html
For Macs and iphone devices:
- Connect to the appropriate SSID
- Once connected, launch a web browser. You should be redirected to a login page. Enter your Angel username and password.
- You should then be able to access the internet.
For Window devices: Connect to the appropriate SSID. If you use WindowsXP you will need to set it up manually (the Authentication is WPA-PSK and the Encryption is TKIP.)
Once connected to the SSID the process of registering and getting online goes something like this:
- Open a web browser and visit any web site. You will be redirected to a site where you must sign in using your Angel username and password
- Once logged in, agree to the usage policy and register your computer.
- After registering the computer, reboot.
- Once connected to wireless, open a web browser, log in using your Angel username and password. Download and install the Clean Access Agent.
- The agent will then take over the login process, again the username and password are the same as you use for Angel. Note that you may be forced to update your antivirus and/or the agent before being allowed full network access.
