Wireless Access
Wireless access is available on all four floors of the Nursing Building, however, the signal is very weak on the fourth floor. Best access is on the second floor and the open areas of the first and third floors. To access wireless you will need:- A laptop with a wireless network interface and a current antivirus program.
- Your WebCT username and password.
- The SSID and Key for your user class (Student, Faculty, or Staff)
The connection and registration process is undergoing changes. The most recent process goes something like this:
- Once connected, open a web browser and visit a web site. You will be redirected to a site where you must sign in using your WebCT username and password
- Then agree to the usage policy and register your computer.
- After registering the computer, reboot.
- Again, open a web browser, log in using your WebCT username and password. Download and install the Clean Access Agent.
- The agent will then take over the login process, again the username and password are the same as you use for WebCT. Note that you may be forced to update your antivirus before being allowed full network access.
